What Our Clients Say about NeuroGuide EEG/qEEG…

I want to extend a heart-felt thank you to you (Dr. Thatcher) for all the work you have done in creating the NeuroGuide software. It has been nothing short of revolutionary for my practice, and frankly, I can not imagine practicing —at least with the type of patients I see-without it.

It offers an incredible window on the brain– unprecedented really—and far superior to SPECT—and has reframed my thinking about neuropsychiatric disorders. I could say much much more, but I really feel you deserve kudos for a job well done.

Robert J. Hedaya, MD, DLFAPA, ABPN, IFMCP
Clinical Professor of Psychiatry, Georgetown University School of Medicine
Faculty, Institute for Functional Medicine
The Whole Psychiatry & Brain Recovery Center, N. Bethesda, MD

I use NeuroGuide extensively and have greatly appreciated its versatility, and ability through remontaging to obtain very detailed analysis of EEG patterns. It has helped greatly in developing neurofeedback protocols. Keep up its excellent development.

Joel F. Lubar Ph.D. BCIA-Senior Fellow, Professor, University of Tennessee

NeuroGuide is the tool we use for QEEG analysis. It has tremendous depth with all the available modules, making its use applicable for clinical as well as research purposes. Our questions are always answered that same day and the product just keeps getting better and better.

Daniel A. Hoffman, M.D. Neuropsychiatrist and Medical Director, Neuro-Therapy Clinic, P.C.

NeuroGuide is indeed a wonderful program with exceptional utility in diagnosing and treating a wide variety of neuropsychological conditions. It is remarkably detailed and helpful in zeroing in on subtle pathologies that might well be missed without it.

Alfred Collins, Ph.D. – Anchorage, AK

NeuroGuide is the progressive technical standard in quantitative electroencephalography, and the support is first rate. The rapid enhancements of successive versions leaves me little motivation to tinker with its functionality and let me focus instead on what it tells me about patients.

Cary Hamlin M.D. – Long Valley, NJ

Again, I want to also express my appreciation as a busy clinician and NeuroGuide user for the ongoing enthusiasm with which NeuroGuide developed into this exquisite clinical tool, and always provide ongoing technical support.  It is unmatched in this industry.

Robert E. McCarthy, Ph.D., LPC, CCMHC, MAC, BCIA-EEG – Myrtle Beach, SC

NeuroGuide’s ease of use is second to none.  The reliability of the software is excellent with the capability to customize analytic functions and conduct pre and post-treatment statistical comparisons. Quite simply, it allows the clinician to understand and treat brain dysfunction in a way that would otherwise be impossible.  I applaud the extensive work that has gone into making this the premier technology of its kind.

Kyle Bonesteel, Ph.D. Director, NeuroHealth Associates and
Assistant Professor of Neurology, Loyola University Medical Center, Chicago, Il

I continue to be amazed at how user friendly NeuroGuide is and I’m impressed with the new features that continue to evolve. Whether one is a beginner, an intermediate user or an advanced clinician it’s equally easy to use.  Thank you.

Mary Ross, Ph.D., Denton, Texas

I am very happy with the results. The report format is very user friendly and allows the clinician to edit with great ease and facility. Again, it is my pleasure to be affiliated with you and your colleagues. I applaud the contributions that you’re making to the field neuroscience.

Perri Johnson, Ph.D.

In the past two years I have inched my way into the Neuroguide family. I have felt held in your kindness, your brilliant way of attending to many of the profound complexities of how NG helps us to understand the immensely amazing brain of our clients.

Salvatore Barba, Ph.D.

Without the database, the ANI user-friendly statistical analysis software, and the list serve education, I would’ve given up on NFB many years ago. These critical developments provided me a basis to validate clients’ complaints, a basis for appropriate referrals to other specialists, a basis to clarify what we don’t know, and yet still offer a collaborative strategy of clinical hypothesis testing and intervention. Absolutely elegant…. and made it absolutely impossible to go back to the old behavioral health paradigm. These continue to be exciting times and we all certainly back your vision and efforts to seek better quality tools and software to improve clinical efficiency and efficacy.

Cecilia Alailma, M.D.

Thank you. Always, I’m feeling a tremendous ‘thank you’ for everything I have learned (am learning, will learn) in this completely new and multi-dimensional phase of my career, with the core and foundation being what I learn through you and your work.

Rusty Turner, M.D.

Thank you for the offer about the seminars. Really kind and generous. You must feel good about the developments you have brought about in the neuroscience field. Just look at what you have done for people. Amazing work.

Catherine Ruckert. Ph.D.

I would like to thank you for the wonderful workshop in Munich.  It was well structured, well balanced with science and practical information and in short I learned quite a bit. Finally, I would like to thank you for opening up a new world in psychiatry. The NeuroGuide is the future and now that all drug companies are getting out of psychopharmacology there is something that will take its place.  On top of that it is much more effective and I believe will help more people live better more productive lives than being shackled by drugs.

Sincerely yours,

Emin Eralp

I always tell my patients that the ability we have with NeuroGuide is something I hoped to see in my lifetime but I didn’t dream it would come so fast. Keep up the great work.

Sincerely yours,

Kurt Kuhn, Ph.D.

Congrats on the new version. I really like this update!! Brainsurfer is looking great and I really like the ability to look at Phase Lock and Phase Shift metrics in LORETA.  This is another game changer. Excellent!!

Thanks!

Nicholas Dogris, Ph.D., BCN

So far I have completed about 80 automatic reports, it has made my reporting more efficient. Highly recommended.

Lauro Amezcua-Patino, MD

The nitty-gritty of multi- thread programming is not for the faint-of-hart and I would like to take this occasion to congratulate Bob and the whole ANI programming team with this job exceptionally well done. The Brain Network Viewer (BNV) is a unique tool that offers the clinician a detailed analysis of common brain networks and link topologic connectivity to symptomology. I consider it a very important step ahead as a true window on the brain. It was Hans Berger who once said: …..” may I succeed and develop the EEG, a window on the brain”.

What Bob and ANI has done goes way beyond the wildest dreams of Hans Berger.

I hope the day will come that the world of clinical psychiatry discovers and fully appreciates  the gem that ANI so generously provides.

Georges Otte, M.D., Verstuurd door Neuro-psychiatrie

I love what applied neuroscience produces. I feel like it’s the gold standard that I can compare psychological, behavioral, and neuroscientific definitions and information to. For example, the Brodmann areas and lobe clinical definition on the “linking symptoms and functional specialization in the brain” page is so helpful to have things easily understood and generalized. Applied neuroscience is such a great access point for resources for those who are knowledgeable in the field and those who need it broken down :)

Alexandra Burns, MA in Neuroscience and Neuropsychology
Director of NeuroPlay Brain Training

Thank you for thinking of me and thank you for your ongoing incredible and brilliant work. I travel to Europe twice a year on business and I am proud to stay the LORETA has flourished among so many MD and Ph.D’s there. Many thanks to your remarkable work.

Barbara Paul-Blume, Ph.D.

Thank you for all these amazing products and all you do at ANI. Amazing technology and applications. You and the ANI team are making a huge impact on many, many lives in Silicon Valley!

Richard Abbey, Ph.D. Neuropsychologist

I hope to see the further development of LORETA neurofeedback in conjunction with Dr. Thatcher’s excellent neuronavigator program and some of the more advanced modules that allow for more detailed exploration of connectivity dynamics including phase slope index (effective connectivity) and cross frequency, amplitude and phase modulation.

Joel Lubar, Ph.D.

Hi Bob,
It’s so great to see all the advancement that you and your team maintain in the field of QEEG. You really are the Father of QEEG!!!

Vincent Paquette, Ph.D.

Thank you for your rapid response. Software updated easily and I reviewed a couple of cases. Software seems to work well. It is a great product, especially for visualizing LORETA connectivity data.

Jerry R. DeVore, Ph.D.

These gifts of learning have been under my very nose, now more and more fragrantly filling the entire spectrum before my expanding senses, enriching my career more than ever before, and allowing me the increasing privilege of knowing and learning from colleagues like you.
Thank you again for everything you have contributed to my life and career over the past 4 years.

Robert Turner, M.D., Neurologist and Epileptologist

We use the Network Injury Index (now the Concussion Index) to track symptoms and recovery, and to try to make better return to play/return to learn decisions. We’re finding it to be extremely accurate in predicting specific symptoms and their severity, which is useful in reporting back to schools and parents.

Anthony Silver, MS MA LMFT BCIA-EEG

I must say again that every time I wonder what you will develop next, its always more remarkable, sensational and amazing then I can imagine. This brain dance strategy is nothing short of monumental to this field, and worth every penny.

Robert McCarthy, Ph.D.

Thank you for being so responsive!! I am a long supporter of ANI and Neuroguide, and I am often an early adopter. I try my best to tell others about how great Neuroguide and other things like Neuronavigator are to the neurofeedback community without trying to be too pushy or sound like I am selling it! What also makes ANI so AMAZING is how you and the ANI team takes care of people! Obviously, I rely on ANI for your amazing software products. Without them, I would probably not do neurofeedback! It is backed by sound science. The fact that you are so responsive makes a huge difference, as about 75% of my business relies on neurofeedback treatments!

Richard Abbey, Ph.D. Neuropsychologist

Thank you dearly for developing this most awesome software called Neuroguide. It has been allowing me to dramatically change the lives of so many.

Deeply grateful,

Ken Sherman, Ph.D.

You have been a blessing to me and the field. Your stewardship is so incredibly honorable. I am still in awe…

Thank you for the inspiration. Thank you for the tools. Thank you for the mentorship!

Chris Howard, Ph.D.

You are quite welcome!! I just want to emphasize that what you and the team and ANI have accomplished is astounding, and that can go back 10 years ago. The rate at which you continue to improve your system is so much appreciated by me and my clients!! The addition of the cerebellum and now other subcortical areas have accelerated the progress of my clients at least 2 fold at least!! I had the honor of visiting ANI and was very impressed by the number of high caliber neuroscientists on your team!! I imagine most people have not had the opportunity to make such a visit. I was surprised by how large your staff is, but when I look at all the advancements, and then implement them, I’m actually surprised that your team is not even bigger given the significant pace at which you and your team are making advancements.

When I was on postdoc for 2 years at a children’s hospital, I couldn’t wait to go to neuroradiology rounds, and it wasn’t just for the pizza!! I was like a kid in a candy store learning about the brain from a multidisciplinary team, neurologists, psychologists, neuropsychologists, neurosurgeons, etc. However, now I get to do this all day long with NeuroNavigator! What’s more, I get to use this data to train my clients to levels that are otherwise impossible. In fact, I firmly believe that NeuroGuide brings individuals to higher levels for which they were genetically programmed. Clients with genetic histories of learning disorders, mood disorders, and attention problems no longer need to suffer. Other clients with head injuries and stroke are back to life!! The work that you and your team do are impacting the lives of so many people who would otherwise be suffering from around the globe.

Thank you Bob and the ANI team. You allow me to give people a better life, and to help this world become a better place one person at a time!!

Richard Abbey, Ph.D. Neuropsychologist

Thanks you so much for your reactivity. Glad to work with your software very useful for me and my patients.

Laurent Laubenheimer

Tech support services nowadays comes in many shades ranging from abysmal bad to surprisingly good. Yesterday however I met the best service ( +3 SD) , personal, professional, efficient, friendly and …much more at ANI. Big kudo’s for Rebecca and the whole support team.

THANK YOU

Otte Georges

I’m complete agreed with the comments.  My experience with all the support team has been as you said +4 Z score.

Maria Dolores

I have to say the same thing – the team is always there for us when we need them. And much appreciated.

Leigh Richardson

I want to send my more enthusiastic thanks to you and your organization for all the ways your knowledge and mentoring made for the most enjoyment that I experience in my career.

Richard Alford, PhD, BCN

And again, swLORETA is ridiculously cool stuff. Absolutely brilliant.

We’ve been using it for some time, but have made a more significant shift toward it this year- as well as Neuronavigator – for the betterment of our outcomes.
Bravo!!

Kyle R. Bonesteel, PhD, ABPP-CN, MSCP, BCN

I attended your conference yesterday, 12/10/22 (Online Workshop), and it was really great! Your lecture was even more informative than I had anticipated! I feel like I learned more about the actual function of the brain and the interpretation of EEG data, more than all four years of medical school, all four years of neurology residency, and the one year of clinical neurophysiology fellowship combined!

Thank You for pioneering so much research and developing the technology that allows us to peer more deeply into the brain!

Omar Moore, MD

I have watched this video at least 10 times. I can’t tell you how deeply it stirs excitement within me. For me it’s like listening to Clapton playing the blues back in the day with John Mayall and the Bluesbreakers. It stirs me to the core. Reading furiously to learn the elements at play in the cerebellum and the diencephalon. This is such ground breaking research!

Thank you and your staff for your continued dedication to bringing this into reality and putting these tools in our hands. The possibilities seem limitless.

Mike Pinkston, MA, LPC

Here is something fascinating. So, when I looked at functional connectivity, there are a lot of opportunities. However, when I raised the threshold and also including DTI, it became obvious that this person needs work with the corpus callossum, that that is driving the problems with the hypoconnectivity. This is very important, because now I can create protocols in NeuroNavigator to focus on the interhemispheric communication and also use NeuroField for stimulation to encourage that communication.

Check it out!
